Started a campaign in middle '31, but I've not met the Japanese yet after 5 battles. Been fighting rogue Nat. Chinese and Communists so far.

Would be good to have some probability of fighting Japanese, since there were a number of skirmishes happening since 1931 between China and Japan.

You won't find Japan as an opponent much till post the Marco Polo bridge incident in around 7/37. Most fighting will be inter-warlord and V chicoms till then.

Based on experience, I'd say the chance of them being picked as your opponent in the early 1930s is only about 10 percent.
