Inf AAMG vs HMG

Are these different in terms of accuracy when engaging ground troops?

Does the HMG enjoy bonus to being spotted over the AAMG?

Otherwise, purely from a defensive POV, should I not favour the AAMG over the HMG?

The MMg/HMG Unit Class is your goto for hosing down enemy infantry - it usually has more range (esp if 12.7mm HMG) than AAMGS. And more crew, so more survivable. HMGs are more often 2 or 3 gun sections, so give multiple strikes for one press of the fire button as well. Also, AFAIR, the HMG/MMG unit class has an area effect on the burst of 1 hex, whereas AAMG only affect the target hex.
