Even though its only a paragraph it says a ton! breadth only hits the surface and it has 300+ scenarios and Meticulously researched OOB is spot on!
Lastly, has it all.'Out of the box' is very true and it would all not be possible with out Don and Andy's long and dedicated work in keeping both games alive and kicking! And for Shrapnel hosting and selling the games and providing this website!
Thanks to all!

Heartfelt congratulations to Don and Andy for a well-deserved endorsement by one of the wargaming industry's primary authorities. Let's hope this recognition is at least some compensation for all the sacrifices they've made over the years for us die-hard grognards. Take a bow guys!

Re: WINSPMBT cited in "Best Modern War, Cold War & WW3 wargames" article by Wargamer
That indeed was a strong para with a stronger word " breadth" in it. It does make one feel good doesn't it!?!
I must say, and this won't come as a surprise to some but, did they really have to pick a screen shot of the ARJUN Mk 2 MBT!?! That tank keeps coming back to me like a boomerang!
But again it's good to see something good and current about the game.
Andy and Don it is my hope to a small degree anyway, this brings you both some comfort and that all the hard work has paid off given the challenges of the last 5-6 years.
Credit has to be given to the "community" as well for all the support you've given over the years as well. Search on a topic on the net concerning the things we talk about here and see how many times forum posts come up in your search results.
Well Done to All!!
I really miss being unable to be as active in this "Community" as I would like right now but, when I can look in I know it's all in good hands!!
Regards,
Pat

Re: WINSPMBT cited in "Best Modern War, Cold War & WW3 wargames" article by Wargamer
This is really a proud moment for turn based tactical wargaming.
The truth of the matter is, just as as Steel Panthers 1 & 2 had their dissidents (for not saying 'haters') back then which were either RTS or turn based wargamers and that WINSPWW2 & WINSPMBT still do have today as well, this kind of further recognition thru time of WINSPMBT & WINSPWW2 really sours their day, and to a fair extent i'm glad it does because it proves once and again that you can't beat a good war simulation with just fancy eye candy graphics.

I am not surprised it is there. Obviously deserved spot.
I would add Red Lightning and Conflict Europe to the list.

Has to be one of the best one paragraph reviews I have ever seen - they definitely could have chosen a better screen shot though.
Great to see some recognition for all the hard work put in by Don and Andy - Congrats guys!

What I didn't catch the first look through is how old that screen shot is. That's from the original Windows Ver 1 ( 2005 ). We don't even list an Arjun Mk1B any longer and the unit photo and Icon are completely different now
