WinSPWW2 2.0

Hello everyone.
I have a question.
I am playing SP since 1995 and mostly / email and these days i am dreaming of a SP with a new engine, a whole new engine, an engine a litle more modern.
Is it a possibility or should i keep dreaming?

If 2.0 (or whatever name it is) will ever seen daylight, I'm afraid that it will be only commercial game...

What's wrong with commercial game?
Command Ops, SPWAW, WinSPWW2 and WinSPMBT are, and I don't mind paying for them.

Well nothing wrong

... But before buying I want to be sure about it's "quality" (any new graphics, game's playbility etc.) and options (same as now?). Anyway, it won't happen at end of day.
