OF COURSE.

You have just modified the OOB, so it will now have a different checksum, and thus fail PBEM OOB security.

By "a running game " are your refering to a secure PBEM or any battle type ?


Changing those formation start dates would kill a secure PBEM but have NO EFFECT on a regular battle

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think there are no patches besides the big once that come every year.
If so maybe a sticky thread that collects such things would be good, the users would have a single thread with all changes for the next patch and so he could bring them into the game himself if needed/wanted.
For example the change of the front turret armor on the Tiger would surely have an impact on scenarios using these vehicle so I changed that already myself.
