A) Where did you install your original CD game to?
B) Did you then install the consolidation patch to there as well?
C) And finally, did you then install version 7 patch to the same path as well?
What operating system have you got? That is always nice information to have if answering queries!.

or 7 or later then you should have read the sticky thread on the subject that is posted at the top of this forum. This information is now also included in the consolidated patch and the version 7 upgrade patch message text,
but it
obviously is not there in the old original CD installer - as that was made before Vista arrived.
If you have Vista or later then you should reinstall from scratch to the new folder path.
Don't try to physically move the files as vista and higher has squirrelled some away in your personal profile space because it is
stupid that way.
If you have XP or earlier then it will happily work in the /program files/... hierarchy because Microsoft had not yet broken that behaviour. However, it is probably best to install to the new default path here as well, as all future patches will be pointed there, and if you use the old path then you will have to tell each installer where that is, using its navigation tool. (With XP or before it is OK to physically move the game folder to the new location since all the files are in the proper place (which cannot be relied upon in Vista and later).)
