It was SP. SP usually lets me devise strategies at my leisure, unless I really suck early on in which case by mid-game I'm trying to get the enemy off my doorstep.

That's why I was asking/checking that he had already won against AI --- it would be so nice to discover that he had not --- though I doubt it somehow ...

I'd like to have had trouble like this against the AI, but unfortunately I have not ..
