Garrison + PD Question

Just want to make sure about something... if you put units in a garrison with PD, but no other commanders, they won't route unless the PD commander dies, correct?

Correct! Unless it's a fortress. Then it hides behind the walls.

Provided the PD commander(s) have sufficient leadership of the correct type.

Sufficient isn't necessary. Having any leadership of the right type (normal/magic/undead) is enough to keep any amount of those troops on the field.
