Default OOB Turkey - T-84

I found a T-84 under the Misc tab and a Prototype Tank section for Turkey, from 2010 onwards.

Is this supposed to be the Turkey-South Korea new Altay MBT? Because as far as I know it won't enter till at least 2015. If this is not it, what is it?

Default Re: OOB Turkey - T-84

There are two tanks in the Turkish Prototype section.

614 - Black Panther - Available 01/112 to 12/120
615 - T-84 Yatagan - Available 01/110 to 12/120

They are in the prototype section simply to keep them marginally available for " what ifs" The Black Panther is the Turk/Korean MBT and the T-84 is a Ukrainian/Turk MBT that we first added as a possible furture MBT back in 2005.

Now..... I could have simply removed both from the game but figured nobody would complain about a protoytpe section that is human only and the AI has no access to.

I wasn't aware the AI have no access to them.
I wasn't complaining, I was just asking.
I never noticed the T-84 before there, or even heard of any such project for Turkey, but I don't mind it exists in the OOB under this case.

I never said that the T-84 didn't exist as a tank.
At least according to the link provided, it was decided back in 2000 to not get it.

The Altay (black panther?) is not going to enter the Turkish Army before 2015 since it doesn't exist even as a prototype yet. (just in case....I am not complaining)

I knew that. I just thought you'd be interested in getting some additional information on the topic. No "malice" intended, I thought the manufacturers information was interesting as I didn't have this earlier myself.
Have a good day!

Pat
