Default Long Campaign

Hello. This game is excellent. Too addictive jejejeje.
I just want to ask if there are opportunities to add long campaigns. Albeit with some countries that have had long wars, such as Iran, Iraq, US-Vietnam. Or US-Soviet Union (simulated hot war rather than Cold War).
Some campaigns are created good but it would be another option.
With the campaigns generated may be achieved.
I do not know, I leave the concern.

Your tools to modify your own ongoing generated campaing(s) are very powerful - (adding, redrawing maps, modyfing VH locations etc). A generated camapaign will give you resonable battle locations for pretty much all countries.

For a lot of major conflicts game already does it just not called a long campaign.
Example pick sides & timeframe that a war did happen & watch the map name as it generates. If the time is right you will see maps with specific place names or even operation so & so & the AI will buy a suitable force for it.

At least thats what it seems to do

Post WW2 wars have not lasted long enough for any such thing. None have have changes to allies and theatres etc like the WW2 choices of PTO, MTO and ETO etc.

Those that have are already catered for with appropriate battle locations for the date and opponent.
- The Bear went over the mountain -> USSR V Afghanistan/Mujadeen has a timeline (12/78 - 3/88)
- First Gulf War (Iran v Iraq) has a timeline (9/80 - 7/88)
- Tanzania vs Uganda in 10/78 to 5/79 has a timeline
- The Korean war already substitutes Chinese opponent with N Koreans prior to their actual entry date. So set up a Korean war campaign from 6/50 with NK/CHICOM/CHICOM and at first, it will be all NK, later a majority vs CHICOM. You will meet the Chinese on the Yalu in 11/50.

Other than that, specific batlocs will appear for the appropriate opponent pair, sometimes date dependent (USMC/USA/ARVN V VC in Tet (2/68) will sometimes give Hue City, etc). Israel v Uganda will get you Kampala city (at any date). (That should probably should be Entebbe, so I'll change the string.)

WW3 is already covered by the appropriate BAOR etc battle locations, and would be short in any case. Delivery of several bucket loads of instant sunshine would soon put a stop to play. So 3-5 battles in 1 or 2 months would do until the world turns day-glo.

So simply e.g. set up an Iraqi starter force in a LC vs Iran in 9/80 (or vice versa) and choose your number of battles and end date up to 7/88.
Or get some Tanzanian militia together in 10/78 to kick Idi Amin's derrière. Unfortunately, the Tanzanian kick of Libyan butt is not covered in a full war length campaign - unless you start in the appropriate month with them as an opponent, but I may do a substitute for that as with the CHICOM/NK for Korea next release.
Or take an elite spetznatz or airborne unit team right through Afghanistan (Conscripts would not be there long enough - or simulate that by selling all your core once a year? - same goes for USA in VN?).

Ok. Thanks for the replies. It is also true that the wars that took place after ww2 fought in defined regions and among a few countries, generally no more than two or three.
With the campaigns generated can recreate the post ww2 war, but we are looking for the easy.
