Default Offtopic Question on Russia

Who the heck guards Russian Embassy's?
FSB? (The successor to the KGB)
Some Border Guards sub-organization?
The Army?

Most Russian embassies I have known are guarded by FSB (successor to the internal security function of the KGB, with the SVR taking over the external functions of the old KGB). They provide inner perimeter security for the embassy and also serve in a counterintelligence function. They wear civilian clothes and perform the functions that US Marines and State Department Diplomatic Security perform in US embassies. They are armed, usually with a hand gun. Some Russian Embassies will have a local guard or two, either private or provided by the local country but they tend to man the outer permiter of the embassy, walking a security patrol around the embassy or manning the outer perimeter of the front gate.
