The use of designated marksman in the game?

Hello everyone, this is not my first post here but it is my most recent one. Have not been on as a member for a good while now. The question I have is the use of designated marksman instead of snipers in the game.

While going through the game I have found various "snipers" listed with weapons not of the sniper class such as AK-47s, G3SG1s, regular assault rifles etc. Is it possible to use in a designated marksman role by tweaking the statistics in mob-hack?

Usually this is handled by adding a "sniper rifle" (usually weapon #1 in most OOB's) to a squad.
You could also create a one-man unit armed with whatever weapon you wished and name it a "marksman".
For myself I sorta assume the less skilled "snipers" in each OOB (those with a "fire control" and "range finder" value of 0 or 5) are marksmen rather then "real" snipers.
As to adding new types of "sniper rifles" to the game...been discussed many times...not happening...90% of the time the difference between one sniper rifle and another is insignificant in game terms.

One of my "little projects" for the next patch is to rename all the "snipers" not using "sniper rifles" to Marksman. (.... and it's not nearly as much fun as it sounds )
