Sino-Indian War Proposal
I like exotic conflicts.
I'm thinking of the " Sino-Indian War" (20 October to 20 November 1962). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sino-Indian_War
Who's interested?
I'll play Chinese.
I'm not so experienced in setup but I'm thinking of a 5000 point battle.
Which map size do you think is appropriate?
What other restrictions (arty and air) are also needed?

Battle only.
What do you think is an appropriate setup?

Re: Sino-Indian War Proposal
I have never played that before. 7000 points, largest map, 5 air, not more than 10% arti, rules for you? Oh, what about off board artillery, do you want it or not?

Re: Sino-Indian War Proposal
Ok you create the game.
If you don't want off board arty then it's fine.

India VS China in 62 seems to only generate China batlocs - something for the to-do list!.
Player 1 should spin the map till he gets the "China - Mountains" batloc, since it is up high. There did not seem to be much armour, or motor transport in these battles (looking at Wiki).
Suggest you limit yourselves in MBT etc to a couple of platoons, and maybe allow 1 company lift of trucks, etc max?.
In which case, as a mainly infantry battle in the mountains, I would suggest limiting board width to ~60 hexes, and probably making sure you have probably 50-60 turns.
Cheers
Andy
