I'm starting with Satellite images but making liberal use of the cloning brush to clearly indicate which terrains are in which provinces. So far, I like the results, though obviously authenticity will suffer a bit.

This will be a larger map - Ireland in the British Isles map is the same size as in the Ireland map.

Again, i like this style of map. If you can work out how to overlay some recognisable terrain indicators - you'll have a winner.
