A comprehensive list of modding commands???
Hi.
I was wondering if there was any sort of comprehensive modding commands list. The wishlist is pretty big, but is hardly comprehensive, or really even very useful for a new modder (mostly just because it seems it hasn't been updated in quite some time. I have also noticed CBM using some commands that I have not seen listed anywhere (a search of mod commands or modding commands brings up very little on the forums and certainly nothing comprehensive).
I have read the modding pdfs and obviously that is only a partial guide as well. I'm really interested in modding some new nations, creatures, spells, etc. but am having a hard time finding the information I need to do so.
Thanks in advance.

Re: A comprehensive list of modding commands???
There should be a "modding.pdf" in your Dominions3\Doc folder. I assume that it is up to date with the latest patch, but I don't mod much so can't say for sure.

I have found all the information I've ever needed in the modding.pdf that is in the /docs/ folder. It is the most comprehensive list of modding commands that exists. It helps of course to look at other people's mods to see how they've structured those commands. I would recommend taking a mod a veteran modder created (I originally used one of Sombre's) and hack it to bits. Do NOT publish that as your own work however unless absolutely everything from the original mod has been completely replaced with your own work. It is a good way to learn, not a good way to plagiarize.

Re: A comprehensive list of modding commands???
I should add that nobody has done a comprehensive how-to walkthrough on modding. The modding.pdf has all the existing mod commands and documents what they do as well as how the syntax works for each different type of object (weapon, armor, monster, nation, magic site etc).
Even if there were some kind of walkthrough ala the game tutorial, modding and mapmaking is very much a process of learning by doing (and occasionally screwing up).
