Situation of this challenge :
Year 1990
A battle in central european winter terrain on a small 50x50 map
The player takes command of these US troops :
Against an unknown USSR army controlled by the computer (no spoiler, i just have let the CPU to buy itself its own troops using the battle points i spent to create the USA army).
The map features 3 clusters of victory points, central, south and north of the map in a maximum of roughly 20 turns.
In the 1st turn, most of the ground troops are loaded in M113.
Only 1 attempt is allowed in this challenge, your first time playing this battle is the one that counts.
Let's try honestly this challenge : you can save to continue later if time is running out for you, but it is not allowed to reload a save until the issue favour you
Personnally, on my first attempt i missed the marginal victory for 200 points, and so was only awarded a draw.
In the end i was holding 2 of the 3 victory points clusters as the USSR managed to conquer one of the 3 clusters nearly fully.
The battle is not impossible to win, but be prepared for a fierce fight, it is easy to lose some expensive equipement or important squad if you are not cautious enough when moving them or if you overestimate you luck
