Just in case everybodys forgotten a "campaign" does not have to span many months or years. You could play a 20 , 40 or whatever you like turn Generated campaign as Poland ( or any other nation ) starting September 1939 and ending September 1939 if you wanted to and you'd get all those battles in that month

True. I tend to think of things in terms of the entire war rather than a period within it, which is why I didn't think of a Polish campaign in that manner.

A perfectly legitimate campaign would be 40 battles from June 1943 to Sept 1943 on the Eastern front.

I'm trying a 25 length campaign(1940-1943) as the Italians.
My core is maybe 300 by second battle started with 250 and not using artillery support"yet"
So far going very well routed the French in the Alps by turn 5 and now beating the Uk in good order by turn 7 in second battle.
But met no armour as of yet and my only amour is 4 autoblinda which are very impressive as are the snipers and APC.
Wish i made it longer now
