Theurg Communicant
While looking at the thread on communions I noticed that there is a Pythium option which is not directly open to LA Pythium - Theurg Communicant.
Is there a way to get these, or something similar, as LA Pythium? LA Pythium doesnt have an easy way to get either crystal matrix or slave matrix and their access to blood is pretty poor. They do have a number of mages with a potential for astral, so casting the communion spells directly is possible, but no reliable way that is anywhere near as cheap as the communicants.
Does this sound about right? I had thought that Pythium was a strong communion nation, even in LA, but it seems pretty tough to do well there. Am I missing something?

Nope, LA Pythium is a different beast. Several nations are radically different in different ages and really need to be played as a totally different nation.
