Default Market Garden style scenario??

I want to use this layout map to simulate some Market Garden style scenario, want to drop some
paratroopers near the bridge so they can conquer the bridge and retain it until a armored
column can reach it from the south.

The idea is that the defending army ( AI ) try to retake the bridge and blow it if possible
I tought that maybe putting high value ( If you have when game ends you win ) is possible
to win only taking the VP??
You know a classical Market Garden scenario

Hi Stratos

I'm sure you knew, but if i'm not mistaken Sp is rather a west-east game, than a north-south. If units become routed, they retreat west-east 'n' not north-south.
(You must have seen the existing scenarios, starting w/ 100,121,122,123 ect)

That's all i can add.
Good day

Well I can change the colour when you see blue, you now see road , the old road is now a river.
My point is If I can force the AI somehow to defend and/or recover the bridge at all cost

SP is a Left - Right game.

The top of the monitor screen is "Top" - and not "North", as we seem to constantly have to keep reminding players. "North" is wherever you want it to be. Scenario designers can always use map text to point to "North" for their particular scenario.

Generate battle in Battle Generator (without using computer auto purchase for P1!) -> P1 purchase screen -> View Map -> Edit Victory Objectives button (Or simply press the redraw victory hexes button to try a new placement till satisfied).
Other map editing functions are available when in View Map screen, of course.

Thank's!! So editing VH to a very high valor will make the enemy troops try to retake the bridge??
And to win the scenario If you control the VH at the end?
That will be cool too for my afghan misions trying to defend besieged garrisons

Excuse my ignorance but can I create a wide river somehow in the random map creator in self generated battles??
September 1944 fights between UK and Germany gives nice Netherlands map but no rivers, can I add a value that create a river?

Go to Help Tab -> "Read The Game Manual" button. This launches the on-line manual, or "Game Guide".

There, click on the "Playing a Single Battle" link. In that section, refer to the paragraph beginning "Water Conditions" and the box section on "River Crossing Assault".
