Two quick modding question

Hi, I had two quick modding questions:

1. Is it possible to alter the statistics for various units? For instance, I'd like to give all commander units a lot more HPs.

2. Is it possible to increase the limit for province defense from the current ceiling of 125?

1. Yes.
2. No. You can change how many units of what types you get, but the highest level is 125. (BTW long before that point, you might want to invest in small forces of mobile units to support the PD.)

Yes. It's quite easy to alter statistics like strength, hit points, protection, etc., or to add abilities like flight, etherealness, etc. There is a \doc directory in your Dominions installation that has a document called modding.pdf which describes possible modifications, although I believe magical items have some options not described in that document.

Check out the mod subforum for examples of what can be done - there's a lot of info in there too if you read around.

Why would you want PD above 125? By that point it's absolutely not worth it.
