Btw. on those Maxim guns take a look at the Jaeger platoon site:

It say there: "Maxim M/32-33 are still belonging to weapons warehoused by Finnish Defence Forces for war-time use."

So you could extend their availability even further than 1995...

Oh man do we even suck...Anyways it might be that it's somehow reasonable to have Maxim still around. Now I start to wonder that do we even have comparable squad level machine gun in use what have range of 24 hexes? So should Maxim even be in OOB list?

Maxim is very reliable, able to shoot for long periods of time, due to water-cooling and use the same ammo, as the PKM and some of the marksman rifles. Maxim is combat proven throughout the world with unbeliavably good results, it costs nothing, if warehoused properly, since we have already bought them 60 years ago, and can be moved by three men with regularity and some ammunition. So if isn�t broke, don�t fix it. I�d like to see those chaps who had to train us to use them though. With hearing-aids and endless war stories.

I believe Maxim is pretty far away from proper mobility at these days. And does it even have good aiming compared to other MG systems.
