I've got an active display based tablet PC (wacom) and when I run WWI cannot use my pen to control the cursor at the splash screen. after launching WW from the desktop I have to double tap (double click) on "start" or "mods" or "video settings" to get any response. After the splash screen all appears correct except that my pen is only detected within a small area in the middle of the display and any movement is highly exaggerated it is as if the screen is an inch wide as far as input is concerned. Is there a fix for this? I hope so because WW would be a perfect game for tablets.
This appears to be a problem with the SDL library that Weird Worlds uses for all of its interactions with the OS. I haven't been able to find a workaround, and I don't know if or when the bug is going to be fixed.
I'd be interested as well in a solution of this issue as I also use a tablet PC. You can play the game in windowed mode to slow down the exaggerated cursor movement, but then you have to always double-tap to activate any button in the game (as it is the case in the launch splash screen).
