Ok, I think I've found the bug. It seems that the battlefield map/maps for caves (caves are found on the new map Dawn when playing Agartha) can't load, even when I can find the map files (cave1 and cave2.d3m) in the main folder.

It would be nice if anyone could verify this by playing Agartha on Dawn and attack an adjacent terrain type cavern province.

I tested it just that way, and it worked. I'll try it from your savegame as well.

Oh bummer, I forgot to put the new cave battleground in the patch. I'll attach it here for now. Download it if you are going to play on the new map.

It must've been in some patch at some point, because it works just fine for me.

The patch I downloaded already had the cave background. Maybe just Linux or Mac versions are affected?

Oh I figured it out. It's in the "battlemap" folder, but it took some time to find it.
