Default Distorted random maps

I'm using Dominions v 3.01 full screen on an I-Mac and I've had problems with distorted maps. When the random map appears, the border lines and the control flags are offset about 1/4" or so making gameplay a pain. When it happens, I have to quit and restart. I've been playing with the pre-made maps for now. Any suggestions? Would it help if I played in a windowed mode?

I had problems with the random maps until I started playing with the resolutions. I have bumped my maps up to 2000 x 2000 for any number of provences. Everything is in focus and lines up.

On a Mac Mini but more importantly on a hi res monitor.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. It's very annoying to have the distortion.

Tried the game last night in windowed mode and at a higher resolution and it worked very well. There may be a slight distortion, but nothing that affects gameplay. Thanks for the suggestion.
