Just curious if there is a set percentage of generating this type of battle with the proper date/opponents, or how it is determined.
I was trying to start as the USMC at Tarawa, and choosing Long Campaign starting Nov '43. Did this ~20 times, and never once got an amphibious assault. All were land based, including the 3 times I drew an assault mission.
Tried it in the generated campaign too, as well as Iwo Jima (Feb '45), never once getting an amphibious assault. So far in a winSPWW2 campaign, the only amphibious operation I have seen was once as the Germans, defending Omaha.
If there is a set %, any chance of upping it or making it editable for those wanting to get our Marines' feet a little wet?
