Default Almost there,,,

Well, on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday the 7 - 10 day shipping time will be over, and I'll get to install SEIV!

I remember the pre-launch hype, but got pulled into other things and *cough* forgot about Space Empires . Now I'm pointed here by a favourite website and immediately grab the demo and buy the game. Oh... the waiting is killing me.

Some fun things I've run into while playing through the demo:
Damaging warp point leading to a black hole system. Ouch. My Minister just couldn't figure out that he should NOT go through that wormhole, even after marking it as "avoid".

With all the MODS and other things available, this looks like it'll keep me occupied for several years. This appears to be an incredible community around the game.

Well, just thought I'd say "Hi." Back to the waiting.

- "Sphereworlds and Ringworlds, and Black Holes, oh my!"

Note: I've seen Black Holes in the demo, and Sphereworlds in screenshots... but do the Ringworlds really exist? (Memories of the Ringworld books come flooding back) And how large a population can they support?

Thanks.

Ringworlds take half the materials and are half the size of sphereworlds.

In other words, I think they're about the size of 5 large planets.
