Default The Hunted- Game Debrief

These game debrief postings are for general interest- and a tribute to all the great work done by the modders (THANKS!) (and a semi-spinoff from other "Test Game" threads). Though not a true test game- I'ts a simultaneous Humans vs. Computer challenge I am playing with two friends against 12 AI opponents called The Hunted. We have agreed not to work together or share info until we have actually encountered each other in the game.

I will post observations every 10 turns or so, or whenever something interesting happens.

PARAMETERS:

SEIV 1.41 with TDM-Modpack 1.80

Starting resources: 100000
Starting planets: 1
Home planet value: Good
Technology level: Medium
Racial points: 5000 (Humans create empires with only 2000);
Computer races will all have 5000
Computer difficulty: High
Computer player bonus: Medium
Quadrant type: Cluster
Quadrant size: Large
Event frequency: Medium
Event severity: Severe
Technology cost: Medium
Victory conditions: When all computer Controlled players are eliminated.

OBSERVATIONS
Rage clan colonizes fast...
I still have not encountered any races (could be my lucky day?) but explored 6 systems!
Sergetti and Romulans always seem to play tough, but Klingons are surprising all...

OBSERVATIONS
The Grimlocks' luck continues. Bumped into DexzenTat on turn 17 and formed Military Alliance. Still no enemy encounters!
Dexzentat are being harassed by EEE; Terrans are cornered and at war with the AI somewhere... Will we be able to cut across the quadrant and find them?

OBSERVATIONS
Knoglam formed most probably as rebelling colony... Terrans no longer in Last place, but still in trouble, under harassment. Dexzentat are also being harassed by several races at this point...
Still no enemy encounters for Grimlocks! Grimlocks have a nice area, slowly building resource base, hoping to send exploratory force soon. Also debating possibility of "stealth attack" force for first enemy race encountered to gain an early advantage. Too bad tech for all human players is still very low.

EEEvils have up and run with this thing.

Star Trek Races (Romulans, Klingons) always seem to know how to build big resources; good AI programming here. Klingons have not built units? May hurt them soon...
