Though I cant seem to get the game going, I think I remember seeing something in the manual that screenshots are taken by using the "printscrn" key, then pasting into a paint program. But, you have to be running the game in a window.

\Game Notes\Screen_Shots.TXT or in the manual, in the "tuning your machine" section, Windowed Mode sub-section.

Cheers

Hi,

I looked through that file. I didn't see anything mentioning
where the files (screenshots) pile up in the Win SPMBT directory. I took one sceenshot ,but couldnt locate it anywhere. I dont have either of the graphics programs mentioned.

I reread it and saw you can use MS paint. But where are the files being deposited?

As it's the standard windows ALT+PRINTSCREEN copy function, the captured window's data goes into the windows clipboard.

You do have a graphics editing programme, it is mentioned in the final sentence of the readme text file, with how to get the clipboard data into the application. Paint is shipped with all versions of windows, just like the calculator is.

Start->Accessories->Paint is the usual route.

You'll need to run the game in windowed mode to get one and you'll need at least MS Paint or preferably something better but Paint will work.

Start the game in windowed mode
Press ALT+PRTSCN
Open Paint ( or whatever )
Click on EDIT and you will see "Paste". Click on Paste and you will get your screen shot

This does not work in full screen mode

NOTE You don't really need to press "ALT" I just do out of habit. Pressing Printscreen alone will work with MS Paint

Hi,

Thanks for all the info. I am able to get a screenshot to the ms paint program but the shot includes my desktop as well. I think this might be the time to look at other graphics programs, one of the ones you suggest.

ALT+PRINTSCREEN means both together. Press ALT then press the PRINTSCREEN key.

PRINTSCREEN on its own captures the entire windows desktop, and not just the currently active window on the desktop.
