Modding the Resources

Ok i want to download some stuff from spaceempires.net but you cant get to the forum or anywhere. It is weird anyone know what is wrong with it?

and i know there is a mod that the guy changed it from minerals/organs/radics to something else do you know how you can do that? :-d not in mod guide

Spaceempires.net's host is experiencing some problems. Fyron is currently getting the site back up, according to a post he made in the B5 thread.

se.net blew up a few days ago, and is in the process of rebuilding. With many gigs of stuff to restore, it will be coming back a bit at a time.

The resources are not actually mentioned anywere except in descriptions.
Thus, simply by editing the facilities and other files, you can rename them all however you like.

To change the resource icons, look in Pictures\Game\General.BMP

Do you any of you know about how to change the minerals type ?

Do what SJ said and change text description references from "minerals" to something else. Just be very, very careful not to change the Cost entries, as SE4 requires them to be labeled as they are (Cost Minerals := ###).
