v1.41 Compatible Klingons, Romulans, Shadows and Borg Variant posted
Have just posted my latest Version of my Klingons, Romulans, Shadows and Borg Variant in the races archive.
From my play testing, I believe the files to be 1.41 compatible (dont get put off by the 135 designation - I had just finished an update 2 days prior to v141 coming out).
The Klingon, Romulan and Shadow files are the same as those in the latest mod-pack being prepared, except that these Research.txt files include the Filler Tech's in order to enhance AI research efficiency.
The main change you will find to these AI (from the earlier Versions) is that the AI gets mines and fighters earlier and uses more of them, and that they use missiles early on rather than DUC's.....
As usual, these AI have been optimised for large galaxies, high number of players, high difficulty, low bonus. With these settings, I have found these AI to be very tough (within the hardcoded limits that we are all aware of)...

Thanx a lot GE,
I have just updated my files now and am looking forward to check it out.
But one question to the Borg technology: Is it intended that the Borg tech tree can be researched by everyone? I guess nobody would take the organic trait any more (because you can have borg mesh armor), and who would build the heavy repair components if he could use the 5kt Borg repair comps ?
Edit: Now I have recovered your PS in the mod section:
PS: Other races shouldnt be affected by the Borg Technology additions, unless they find the tech in ruins (or are
on the receiving end of the tech!). Human players should be on their best behaviour and not research the tech or
trade for it....

The Klingons, Romulans and Shadows use standard files and will be in the update of mod pack - the only extra this Version includes are the Filler Tech's.
My Borg race is a variant for anyone who likes the idea of the Borg having their own research tree and tech. If you are after a Borg that uses standard files, Q has posted one in the race archive.
As a note, I did originally create a Borg racial trait (rather than a tech tree) but that meant old EMP files would not work, which would create too much work for anyone using the mod - hence I made it a just a standard tech and accepted the possible downside of Borg tech being found at ruins (has happened to me in one game) or being traded between players (fortunately my Borg are usually at war with most of their neighbours and are therefore not prone to trading).

Hey GE, can you also include the races that I have compiled into the mod pack?
I will be updating the AI on all of them tomorrow evening, and re-submitting them for download. This will include the New Trek Original Series using Ghosts 3d Ships.
