Yeah . More a wish for dominions 3 :
Perhaps you could have advisors like in civilization 3 on the various fields like 1 military advisor , 1 magic advisor , 1 economic advisor etc

.

Then the economic advisor e.g. would say a few funny comments when your whole empire suffers under high unrest etc.
