"Thanks for the replies everyone - this confirms what I suspected by my limited test. After this, I'm fairly inclined to believe that believe that FM is harder to heal than at least some other afflictions, although my 10 turn test is not sufficient to come to any conclusive judgements (as Arryn says, Murphy's Law applies

). "
Ten turns is a meaningless test. I believe the priestesses healing has a 10-20% success rate, chalice seems about 50% and GOH no idea as I have never used it.
Over 10 turns a 20% success rate is 89% likely to work & 10% is 65 % likely to work giving very significant chances that that the pretender would keep his feeblemindedness.
The fact that the chalice cured him in 1 or 2 turns seems to have been overlooked, because as is human nature, we look at the corroboratory evidence not the contradictory evidence. I have noticed never healing wounds being sticky under the chalice but have not seen it enough to be sure it was not just chance.
edited to add (hmm this comes over a bit strong sorry but then I miss Norfleet)
