Default Flank command

I seem to remember in previous games I was able to give a flank command to my calvary. Now, I don't ever seem to have the option. Is there something I'm forgetting or did they take that option away in a recent patch? I sure hope not.

Nevermind, I figured it out.

I've never heard of a flank command for cavalry. Did you mean attack rearmost? It still exists, I use it all the time.

Depending on what you have and/or are up against, put your fodder or heavy foot in the center and give it the "attack, closest" command. Put your fast flankers far to the side with a "hold and attack, attack rearmost enemies". That usually works, at least on indies.

If you give your flankers the "attack, attack rearmost enemies" without the hold your units often get tangled up in melee with advancing enemy scum with the "attack, closest enemies" order.
