Really! I was unaware that they got in a weapon strike as well. That's interesting.

Trample damage is (2*size), armor piercing. Size difference is not relevant.

Really? I could have sworn I read something somewhere saying size difference matters, but ok.

Doesnt two shields (i.e. no attacks) cause you to have a "feeble kick" attack that gives a negative defense modifier? Using Main Gauche of Parrying will give your Earth Mother a good boost in defense IIRC.

Really? How can I find that out? Anyone know?
thanks tons

Re: Tiny question on Trampling
Size only matters in what can and cannot be trampled. A unit can only trample something of a lower size.
So Size 6 creatures can trample everything except other Size 6 creatures.
This comes into play when using things like Minotaurs or the rare non-size 6 trampler you find.

Re: Tiny question on Trampling
I remember reading somewhere that size difference matters in how many tramples you can make each turn.
I have observed that a size 6 tramplers tramples several size 2 units each turn, while a size 3 trampler only tries to trample one (and usually fails). But I do not know if it is a matter of size difference or just of size of the trampler.

Damage is (size of trampler*4) if the defense check fails.
And yes size difference is relevant : you can trample more squares if you're bigger.

As for how trample works: Tramplers trample until they run out of action points, then attack with a weapon. So you always do both.

*Blink* Really? I suppose I never tried trampling with a weapon that gave visual results... This could really change the way I outfit large leaders!

Re: Tiny question on Trampling
A trampling unit always tramples smaller units. It only uses its weapon against larger or similar size opponents. Hmmm... actually it uses weapons for repel purposes against small units too, but that's it.

Unless JK has sneaked in a change tramplers do not attack with a weapon at the end of a trample. Size difference is relevant in how much ap it costs to trample, a minotaur gets to trample more squares of hoburg militia then a square of humans etc. IIRC this effect maxes out at size difference 3.
Edit: JK beat me to it.
