non ending loop when creating new fleet
Sometimes, the game hangs when I create a new fleet. It's a big game in which I have ~ 50 fleets and this problem has apparead after ~100 turns.
Any way to prevent it ? Could it be a problem in the designname file ?

Re: non ending loop when creating new fleet
Fleet names are not dependent on design names file. They just cycle through greek letters. What is the name of the next new fleet you create? Maybe the names are getting really long, sometimes confusing the exe?

Re: non ending loop when creating new fleet
Maybe I've finished the cycle and come back from the start, I think. My names used to takes three greek letters, but it has re-started to "alpha fleet" after a while.
It happens only in some place, not in the whole map.

Re: non ending loop when creating new fleet
Does the game crash consistently if you create the same new fleet in the same location after reloading the game?

Re: non ending loop when creating new fleet
Send a savegame file in that does this to [email protected] and ask Aaron to take a look at why it is happening. All that we can do is guess as to why it happens.
