Re: OT - Ronald Reagan
It's bad that he died, but I think it's worse and really sad that his Last years had absolutly no value or pleasure through that alzheimer disease, (hope that the word alzheimer is a correct translation) the Last years (10 years or something like that ??)

Re: OT - Ronald Reagan
That is the correct translation. My grandfather went the same way.

Re: OT - Ronald Reagan
I would not want to go out that way and have promised myself that I would not.

Before I get to the old folks home they BETTER have direct neural interface all worked out. I want to be playing Version 12 in all my favorite games in a virtual environment.

Maybe some of you already noticed that, but if you know somebody with Alzheimer you will see that those people are getting really old.
The few I knew became 89, 92 and one of 101, and offcourse Reagan (93).
Really sad, getting extremely old but the only thing you can still do is talking to the plants.....

My grandfather passed away also with Alzheimer's, which he developed after having a stroke. He only Lasted about 4 years once he went into the nursing home.

I made that promise also, the only problem with alzheimer is remembering that you made a certain promise
