Wow...and who ever said chess by correspondence was dead. Hehehe. As the AI would say:
"Your patience is astounding!" Well, for PBC we do it through the forum so the orders stick around...
With about 15 active people it takes about 2 hours to process, and we do a turn a week.
The IRC combats generally don't take long, but then, the PBW battles are usually fairly lopsided...
Those officers don't want to be killed by a random APB blowing out lifesupport, so they tend to bring 6 LCs and a couple carriers to take out one or two Drushocka cruisers.
For a good combat with evenly matched sides, of 4-5 ships, half an hour should be plenty.
