Sundevil\'s Mod Compatibility
A few Questions...
#1.Does anyone know if Sundevil's AI MOD is compatitable with 1.30?
#2.Can it be used with TDM Mod Pack?
#3. Would like a few comments from Users of Sundevil's mod. I am very interested in the diplomacy aspect.
I had a recent game where the Norak were my allies. Due to incursions by my fleet into their systems our relations declined to a state of war. I did everythingh in my power to improve relations and after many turns they were brotherly toward me but no matter what I did they would not make peace!

Re: Sundevil\'s Mod Compatibility
My biggest concern at the moment is if SunDevil's mod will work with Version 3.0 of the SE IV patch.
Does anyone know?

Re: Sundevil\'s Mod Compatibility
I use it and haven't had any problems (that I know of--IF I am, they are very subtle ones---no game stoppers or RCE's or anything like that).
I have used it on the Last two patches of the game.

Re: Sundevil\'s Mod Compatibility
I too use Sundevils mod without any obvious problems.
As near as I can tell, v1.27 and v1.30 made no changes to the AI_Politics and AI_Anger files, so unless the exe file is processing the files differently, I believe that there are no compatibility problems.
I havent come across the "at war with a brotherly" scenario. They all hate me with a vengence when I'm at war with them - although I did notice against the Norak (I think) in one game that I was at war with them for many turns without any combat (he declared war on me) and they gradually improved in relations to cool. Thought it was strange, but, attributed it to a lack of combat and expansion on my part in his territories. He was also at war with someone I was at war with and I thought it may also have been the "enemy of my enemy is a friend" sort of thing...

Re: Sundevil\'s Mod Compatibility
God Emperor,
Do you use it with the TDM ModPack and it what order would you install them? I read your recent thread about TDM and wondered if SunDevil was being used as well.
Thanks

Re: Sundevil\'s Mod Compatibility
Install mod pack first, then Sundevil's mod and mine in any order. My mod affects the AI_Research, AI_Designcreation and TechArea files. Sundevil's affects the AI_Anger and AI_Politics files. Hence there is no conflict between my mod and Sundevil's.
Mod pack's files are unchanged from v1.30, except for the XiChung, Sergetti and EA - dont use any of Sundevils files for these races.
Sundevil, if you havent already done it, I suggest that you email your mod to Mephisto for review and inclusion into mod pack.

Re: Sundevil\'s Mod Compatibility
God Emperor could you repost your mod? I did a search for it in the mod forum but the link came up as an unavailable page. Maybe it got erased in the Last house cleaning in that forum?

Re: Sundevil\'s Mod Compatibility
Will do (in about 6hrs time).
I deleted it when v1.30 came out as I wanted to do a compliance check. Nothing changed as far as I could tell, so I will repost it, minus the races that the mod packers (Daynarr, Mephisto etc) have worked further on (eg Sergetti, Xi Chung, EA).
Regards,
God Emperor
PS: As a note, I emailed it to Mephisto who indicated that it is mod pack compatible.

Re: Sundevil\'s Mod Compatibility
God,
Any chance of you reposting that tonight? I decided to check out the forum before I settled into a nice long conflict and before I start I'd be happy to incorporate your MOD if it will be available shortly. In the mean time I think I'm going to tweak my Quad & System files:-)
Thanks
Tarkin
