Help!!!! Can only seem to download V1.27a from Shrapnel

Have been trying to download V1.27b from Shrapnels download site but keep getting v1.27a. Have tried 10 ten times!!!

Would someone please upload the patch into the mod directory. This is as frustrating as hell. No matter what I do, I always seem to get v1.27a....ughhhhhh...

Have you tried from MM's site. I got mine from there a few hours ago and it appeared to be the b patch

Have you tried reinstalling SEIV from the CD? If you installed 1.27a, the game will not let you install 1.27b without first reinstalling the game completely. If this doesn't help, I'm sure one of us will upload the patch.

Have reinstalled from my CD six times!!! and have been meticulous about deleting earlier patch download files.
Have tried MM's site four times without success..They appear to just link to Shrapnels site...

File I keep getting from download is dated 20/2 and only has two lines in the v.127 history. Once I have executed it and start a game, I get the Armour III problems...

It's probably a Cache issue with your browser.

Please clear your Cache and download again.

Richard, how do I clear my Cache? I have deleted history and temporary files. What else do I need to do?

Whatever browser you are usin should have a clear Cache function.

I really hope you aren't using AOL

.

Also instead of just clicking the link, right click on the link and hit save as.

No luck with the right click option.
My browser is IE4 (or IE5), under what menu will I find clear Cache?

In IE4 I believe the clear Cache function is:

View->Internet Options

then select "Delete Files" under "Temporary Internet Files".

Also, when you do the right click "Save Target As" try saving it to a different spot than where you've been saving it before.

Managed to get it at Last. Tried the right click whilst in Malfador and downloaded it into a different drive (c instead of e). One of those two made it work.
Now I can get back to gaming!!!
