My topic on RCE's and my sending of the save game file to MM resulted today in an email from MM with following contents:

Thanks for the savegame. We will be releasing a patch to fix up your
problem later this month.

RCE's. You know, cross thy fingers, I have not been getting them lately. I wonder why? I just hope it keeps up like this. Knock on wood.

The RCE's I reported are connected to strategically resolving combat with large (20+) fleets and big ships (Dreadnought and higher). The RCE's showed up after several hundreds of turns for the first time. I know others have reported RCE's that occurred for other reasons, so it seems to occur rather frequently for different kinds of reason. However, AARON is working on a solution, see below

Did they say is it the RCE caused by wormhole weapons or something else?
