Re: Legends of Faerun - Closed (Game started)
Ahh, and it all goes according to plan to Pan. Of course, Pan will keep playing.
Muhaahaaa.

Arga Dis will not be outlasted by Pan and will keep playing until the Plan of Pan falls apart

Re: Legends of Faerun - Closed (Game started)
Pan's message hasn't yet penetrated the underground caverns, so Agartha will happily continue to contribute to the Legend.
@ Executor - Many apologies for the stale. I was away from the internet all day when the last deadline hit, and as such didn't get your delay request in time. Only managed to upload my own turn with a few minutes to spare upon returning home in the evening. But it was just a strict emailing job, and I didn't log onto the forums at the time to catch your PM.
@ All - Can you all please ensure that all delay requests (although I hope we can greatly limit them from now on) are PM-ed to me AND Baalz, AND posted on this thread. I'm usually pretty reliable for catching last minute delay requests that are PM-ed just to me, but if I'm not around the forums/internet near the hosting deadline, then there's not much I can do with regards arranging the delay. So it's always safest to tell as many admins as possible, and post on the thread as well for extra security (my 'new PM' pop-up box is very unreliable at the moment as well for some reason)
re: drop outs/subs - It looks like WingedDog (definite) and Executor (probable) are both having to sadly step out of this game due to RL circumstances. WingedDog may have a potential sub lined up already (judging from his sub-hunting thread), and Executor may also have someone who will sub for him. But as yet neither are confirmed as far as I know. Will let you all know more when/if something develops.

Re: Legends of Faerun - Closed (Game started)
ALL, sorry to bail like this, but I can't handle the time the turns demand.
The sad part is that those wars with Cealum/Lanka/agartha can be turned around with a little extra effort.
I was unable to find a sub, so I've posted a sub thread, I hope someone will answer it since it would be a shame that a powerful nation like Fomoria be turned AI.
Good luck to the rest of you.

Ahhh. Six stales, including several double stales. I like it.
It's all falling into place.

Re: Legends of Faerun - Closed (Game started)
There was a new turn? I didn't even get a previous one. Now just got new one. Not the first time in that game.

I think the llamaserver has gotten a little glitzy on automatically sending out it's new turns. I've seen the complaint here and in some other games. You have to go hit the "resend turn" button on the llamaserver web site to get your turn sent sometimes. I've had to do it once.
You've staled three turns in a row though Zeldor. I thought you had quit. Admittedly, there's not much for you to do. Of course, Ulm is staling too, so no harm done to you. It's kind of funny actually, like a war suddenly caught in a freeze-frame.

Wow, don't think I've ever been in a game where 50% of the players staled a single turn. Maybe last turn, the absence of this game's usual 'at least one delay every turn' schedule caught some players out?
Re: The stalers -
I'm hoping the Helheim stale was a one off, since it was Falkor's first in this game. And now that Zeldor has popped his head in again, I'm hoping that will put an end to the Atlantis stales.
WingedDog has hopefully now found a sub for Abysia in the form of AdmiralZhao. A subbing offer for which many thanks are certainly due. So the Abysia stales should now come to an end.
No idea what has happened to Revolution (Ulm). His profile stamp says he hasn't been on the forums since the 27th (two days ago). Which goes some way to explaining the last stale, but less so towards the one immediately before that. Doing a little digging finds me the Asia Twist game which PashaDawg is running. On that thread, PashaDawg makes recent mention of the Caelum player dropping out due to a vacation. And the first post of that game indicates that Caelum is played by Revolution. I will PM Revolution to find out what's happening. And also PM PashaDawg to find out if Caelum in his Asia Twist game was being played by Revolution until recently or not (because if so, then we have an answer for what happened to Revolution)
Executor has posted a sub-hunt thread for Fomoria, but no takers yet as far as I know. Think they will be tricky to find a sub for because they are not a dying nation in any sense (like Abysia probably are), so it's not a question of putting up a last ditch defence. But this then means that anyone coming in will have to put in a huge amount of time to get anything out of them. And players with 5+ hours of free time every few days are pretty hard to come by.
Edit: Sauromatia also staled the last turn, but they have already submitted their current turn, so hoping the stale last turn was a one off for them.
Will keep you all informed with any developments on all of the above.
