Order of Operations

Going to post this on the SE4Center forums as well, appologies in advance to anybody who gets irritated by the dupeing.

The moment you hit end turn, all production is processed. This happens before the next guys turn. If you order one turns worth of satilites built, they will be made before the next up player gets control. Further, I know that repair takes place before the next enemy turn, but AFTER construction. This means you can speed build a one-turn ship or station packed with repair bays, and possibly turn the tide for a damaged fleet in orbit.

Here is the list so far

1) end turn
2) ????
3) production
4) ????
5) repair
6) ????
7) begining of next guys turn

If you have any knowledge about where other things fit, I'd be tickled pink to know it. I want to know where in this order intel ops fall. When, exactly, are your mined minerals put up for use? Is repair or construction sub-divided into seperate passes for ships and planets, or is that handled as a unit? Do remote mined minerals process later or earlier or at the same time as facility generated resources?

With everybody contributeing to this, I'm sure we can build a more complete picture. Possibly, we will discover some more ways to use the fabric of reality to our advantages.

Re: Order of Operations

I know Intel operations happen before the other guys turn I have stolen ships and planets and had them attacked on the other guys turn. If it happens before or after resources are generated I haven't checked. I usually don't keep that tight a check on how many resources I get but I will watch next time to see if I can tell.

I do notice that the intel operations are listed before building new facilities on the notepad thing though.

Re: Order of Operations

I suspect this is to support the multi-player function. At the end of the turn, everything is resolved so that the next turn can be generated. That would help explain what you are seeing.
