Please change the \"e\" shortcut
Whithout any confirmation box even if you have not played in the turn, having a shortcut for end turn accessible in one key press is not a good idea I think. Especially when the key is "e", neighboring on the keyboard "d" for buying province defense and "r" for recruitment.
Please change the end turn shortcut to shift + e or cntrl + e or something like this, hard to type by error. Staling a turn because of a typo is not fun.

Sounds reasonable

Re: Please change the \"e\" shortcut
I really wish that the keyboard shortcuts could be externalized into a config file so that they could be reassigned to suit the individuals preference.

Re: Please change the \"e\" shortcut
as a temporary workaround you could use remapkey.exe
an old and free microsoft tool

Re: Please change the \"e\" shortcut
I second this. I've already inadvertantly ended some turns prematurely. I'd also like to see the host dialog brought back for single player, since I do my turns in bits and pieces, but I think that's wishfull thinking.

Re: Please change the \"e\" shortcut
I also would like to have an option to see the host dialog in single player; I'm so used to hitting end turn and then exit in order to quit, nearly every time I want to stop playing I end up hosting the turn instead. I've also hit "e" a couple times by accident, and that's no fun either.

Re: Please change the \"e\" shortcut
I'll add my hope for this as well. Remapping the key (via remapkey.exe, etc) isn't a very good option since you then have the 'e' key remapped for _every_ application until you restore the original mappings. Horrible for a blitz where you're doing other things while waiting on others to take their turns. Even just within Dom3, you'd have to remember which key was switched with the 'e' for sending messages, renaming commanders, casting wish, etc.

Re: Please change the \"e\" shortcut
You could use AutoHotKey. I'm not sure if it works on OS other than Windoze, but it can be used to remap all of your keys, and you can even map a key to "Pause", which makes the software temporarily inactive (and thus you are able to type normaly) until the next time you click it.
Ofcourse, this is only a workaround, a patch allowing remapping will be better.

I agree the 'e' key does need to be remapped within a patch, however remapkey.exe is a better workaround than having no workaround at all. It's also very easy and quick to use.

Re: Please change the \"e\" shortcut
if youre playing single player and accidentally end your turn before youre ready, you can quickly close the application before the hosting process finishes and you wont stale the turn youll just have to redo what youve done from the start
