Noted that btwn Last class of ships and D-star there was large 'space' gap, 2k to 10k. been working on similar ship evolution but smoother (actually d-star was at lower end of the spectrum) and based on development of new construction techniques or materials. So might wish to consider what advances might allow the construction of large ship platforms. Also one ship type was considering is moderate sized ship with great speed .. get in and out fast so has a chance agaisnt super sized ships. haven't decided if should change this to new fighter type instead yet. just considerations ..

I just wanted to say that besides some of the bugs in his mod, I think Dave did a great job and I hope he will continue to make more mods.

Thanks. I will. One request, however. Could you send me a list of bugs you found? I tried to do extensive debugging (as much as I could, at least) before I posted it, and thought I found them all. Though I know you can never find them all.

By the way, I have no problem whatsoever with people expanding upon any modifications I make, as Aegis did. I would appreciate it if you note somewhere that you used my stuff, but I won't go off crying if you don't

Ship Modifications (based on DavesMod)
Hi,
I've just posted an excel list of the mods I'll be doing to vehicle size and techarea once the new patch is out. They are heavily based on DavesMod, but include a Deathstar ship, and are somewhat more refined.
Any other ideas about what can be included?

p.s. I'll probably change the compEnhancement file to allow base style, range-enhanced heavy weapons placements for ships of size 10000 or above (i.e. Death Stars)
