And thus it is proven, see how Calahan is drawn to this thread when a powerful being such as myself posts something?

Re: Blessing Question
Sure, maybe they attract chaff. I have no problem with that.
But using that to weaken them seems wrong to me. It'll just work to frustrate and annoy players.
Witness the eternal kvetching about Golems dying at the autorout, even though they could have easily won. Limiting SCs like this will more common and more broken.

Fair point, players will certainly get annoyed by routing SC's when they haven't even been injured. Like with many things I guess, it all depends what the aim is. If it's to stop solo SC use, then it might work quite nicely, and force player to use them as support for armies only. Of course some players might just refuse to alter their play-styles, and end up being frustrated game after game. So it'd be a bad change for the stubborn players.
Not that this thread has anything to do with SC stuff So apologies to the OP for the O/T hijacking. Carry on.

I think I have seen mind burns miss. (Under storm, long range etc, blind caster). But I'm not certain. I did see a mindburn attack on a empty square.
I think I also saw this when I used normal mind blast ranged attacks.
(And it makes sense if prec 100 isn't a special case in the code. Then it would just add 100 prec (with all the prec over 12 (??) doubled)).

Re: Blessing Question
I've never seen this, but I've heard of it before. You may well be right about 100 Prec.
Very different from the standard Blessing missing though. That happens at short range, only with other units around and is definitely the result of the AoE, not actually missing the target.

True. Used to be cause of death nr 1 for Niefel giants in my SP games.
And there is very little you can do about it. Apart from getting indy priests of hold and attack orders, or using less blessable troops. A priest will not try to bless troops that cannot be blessed.

Re: Blessing Question
I've repeatedly had priests not only trying to bless non-sacred troops, they even tried to bless enemy non-sacred troops. That one reason flyers are great against self-blessing thugs/SC

Re: Blessing Question
If I'm right, they would only do that because there were nearby friendly sacred troops.
