All players can reguest for a free boon before the next ordeal starts on turn 77. This reguest can be a "specific" one and it counts for your boon for this ordeal.
The effects of the boon are increased according to how much favour you in the eyes of the Pantokrator. So the effects are increased by (remaining boons) x 10%. So, for example, if you have 5 boons remaining, the effects of this boon (gems, items, amount of info, whatever) are increased by 50%

Re: Legendary Ordeals
I would say the ordeals you could do something about like units wandering about or the four horsemen attack one province after another was the most fun. The random rituals etc was mostly irritating esp when they killed my blood hunters.
Maybe do something more with the slumbering elder plotline, like having a personal ordeal from them also that is introduced some way into the game, which if completed would yield a special boon that could be used to spawn some unit/army in a specified province that would then move around randomly until defeated.

The Ordeal for Turn 76: The Gates of Tartarus
The Ordeal for Turn 76: The Gates of Tartarus

The Gates of Tartarus are now open.
Those of you who stand on the ruins of former empires, fear. Fear deeply, for the last owners of those mighty kingdoms are coming back from their torments in tartarus.
And they are not pleased.

->
After this turn, every month one fallen god will escape from tartarus with a host of servants and attemp to recapture their old capital. The fallen gods will teleport through various mean to 3 provinces away from their old cap and move to recapture it.
Their motivations are in following order:
1. Capture their old capital
if that is not possible:
2. Spite the nation responsible for their fall (pillaging, raiding)
if that is not possible:
3. Spite the nation currently in control of "their" cap.
The gods come from tartarus in a random order and if a player is defeated before this ordeal is over, that nation will also join the list of fallen gods (moment in this realm is a eternity in tartarus).

Well, that is kind of crude to way to put it, but yes.
Usually a concensus is reached before the full 3 turns pass. It mostly depends on if any of the players has a plan to take a cap from you.

I can't see anyway, I can take a capital off Lanka, so unless someone else can, its pointless doing the next 3 turns.
May as well declare Lanka the winner, unless anyone else objects?

I thus grant Bifrons the divine voice and limitless power befitting of his new status as the ultimate ruler of this realm!
Bifrons, your first choice as the divine and rightful ruler of this realm is to decide what to do with your former competition. Do you want to spare them and make them your celestial servants or do you wish to throw them into the depths of Tartarus?

Isokron won the game. Congratulations! He should feel free to gloat using the "Pantokrator Voice" (just quote this post for the forum code). He can now choose to either throw the other pretenders into the Tartarus or spare and make them lesser gods in his service (this has no other meaning beyond the RP aspect).

Thanks for the game everyone and especially Burnsaber.
My pretender was an imprisoned master druid with dom7 f4w4e9s4d1n4b1 O3S3H3Mi2Ma1. Gives both a good bless and a rainbow.

Ok, the game is over. Many thanks to all parcipants. It was a fun ride!
As promised, here are the tables and other notes I had for the game. It also has most of my .trn files. All players in LO II should note though that I've done some updates to boon tables since these, so you can't count on them to give accurate information for LO II.
