seduce / corrupt
Hi everyone,
whats the difference between seduce and corrupt enemy commander ? I think seduce can only target male commanders while corrupt can work on female commanders, too.
Anyway, is corrupt stronger than seduce ? And how exactly is the attempt calculated, which stat is importat to succed / resist ? Morale ?
ty everyone.

Corrupt seems to work on both male and female commanders, as I've gotten dryads as well as a barbarian chief this way.
Seduce, however, seems not to be terribly powerful: I sent maybe 10 or 20 Succubi to attempt seduce until most of them had been killed from failures, and netted only a single High Seraph. I'm certain that there's at least one MR check involved, probably of low difficulty, plus I'm sure morale is involved as well. Also, non-males and non-humanoids seem immune, although this doesn't prevent the succubi from trying and failing! They're very kinky.

Re: seduce / corrupt
As an aside, I believe I've seen it mentioned that the cat charm (con 2) can increase a succubi's chances of seduction. The description reads "a woman wearing this amulet will become more beautiful," which sounds promising to me. I haven't tested it though.

Re: seduce / corrupt
There is no in-game male or female status.

Yes there is, names are assigned according to male or female, male is default. It doesn't have a significant game impact however, besides succubi seduction.

Re: seduce / corrupt
I think chances are higher for units with low MR/morale/holiness. So far my succubi have secuded I think four generic human (indy-type) commanders, and a Caelum winged magician (air-1 water-1), and killed quite a few (guessing about 30?), but many of those who had to be killed were lizards or females. Sometimes it tells you they weren't at all interested, for example when my succubus attacked the Arch Theurg Prophet.

Re: seduce / corrupt
Seduce: successful if both mr and mrl fails. Otherwise assasination.
Corrupt: probably the same but more difficult to resist.
