At the beginning of the document it states this:

This file governs how an empire decides to send Messages.

Score percent:
This is the percentage of the <b>target player's score</b> to <b>ours</b>. So if <b>we</b> have a score of 10000, and <b>they</b> have a score of 15000, this percentage would be 150%

First question:
Who is:
<b>target player</b>
<b>we</b>
<b>they</b>

The first couple lines of this AI script state this:

Score percent For Demanding Tone :=80

Score percent For Pleading Tone :=120

Now as said above would this mean according to my calculations that if the computer had a higher score they would be pleading and if they had a a lower score percentage they would be demanding, I think this might be backwards. <b>Please note that this is from the latest demo since I can't buy the game yet and might be fixed with the latest patch, could someone please verify this for me.</b>As alway thanks for any response.

Actually I think this makes sense.

As it is stated in the paragraph if

we = AI
they, Target = other AI or player

AI has 100 and you have 150 then % = 150

Think in that situation the ai would plead, since you outnumber it 3 to 2

This is inkeeping with the stipulation that above 120 the ai pleads

Personally I think It should be set higher
But It might BE set higher in Non-default AI.

Of course, the ONLY politics file I've found is the "default" one... (I haven't upgraded from 1.11 to 1.19 yet, since I've been at work all day, so I don't know if this has been changed).

Yes, ver 1.19 now has individual politics files for all races and even different ones for neutral/aggressive AIs, etc. I too am at work and am curious how this will play out this evening!!
