Re: The Battle of the Baltics
At the moment there are 6 Lithuanian players and 5 Finnish. In case of 5 being a maximum number - LT team will drop 1 player.
Still we need a map and a GM for our game. Anybody?

Re: The Battle of the Baltics
I suggest we wait until 3rd of March because I have one another game starting 1st day and because I haven't done my empire file for this game and propably settings are not done by this friday and I am travelling from 20th feb to 29th february. I need some time when I come back home.

Re: The Battle of the Baltics
Karibu, no problem starting the game when you come back but from our experience in the LT vs USA game it is very difficult to get things going. That's why I suggest starting the game on PBW and joining it. You can upload your empire when you're ready. By that time we should have everything prepared (map, other emp files etc.). Hopefully...

Re: The Battle of the Baltics
I'd like to hear players opinion about following issues:
-storm creators (if the game starts before the new patch is released)
-deeply religious trait
-ancient trait
-same atmosphere and colony type for all
-3000 racial points
I suggest banning first three and lowering racial points.

Re: The Battle of the Baltics
i dont have an opinion on acient race and storm creators, but i preffer to keep 3000 racial points, it lets to create stronger empires and makes the game faster , and i would like to use all kind of colony tipes and all breatheble planets. Dont make the game complicated because both sides have some inexperenced players. As for the the talisman i think most of our players would like to use it, so i am with them.

Re: The Battle of the Baltics
Yeah, storm creators should be Banned.
deeply religious- in this team game empire without this trait would be in serious disagvantage. So we have 2 options: everybody *must* take talisman or nobody does it. Personally I would like to go with first choice.
ancient race- i'm fine either way.
I would like no restrictions on planet type & atmosphere. Deathmatch should be quick.
racial points- i'm fine either way.

If there is no restrictions each player would take different atmosphere and colony type. That means no research required to get all colony types and lots of extra job when players trade population and transports to proper planets. Easier if all team members have to choose same atmosphere.
That is the reason why I asked the same atmosphere for all players but I have no problems whatever we decide.
With 3000 racial points it's sure everyone will take the talisman. So the question is whether we want it. And ancient, it's up to you if you want to explore or not. It's also absolutely sure one team member picks ancient trait.

Re: The Battle of the Baltics
we don`t need to research colonization tipes, we can just trade them among us. So we could use all planets and moons.
