Default TDM Mod Pack Question

I just started using the mod pack and I think the additions are great....however I have one problem...everytime load a saved game my race/ship graphics change to a different race. Everything else is correct except for the graphic changes..I may start out as Terran, but my next reload my graphics are for Narn, followed by Cylon ect...did I miss a step somewhere? Thanks....

Which shipset do you use for yourself? I would guess it is still in the normal Space Empires IV\Pictures\Races\Racename folder. As you are now using the TDM-ModPack folder you have to copy your shipset to the Space Empires IV\TDM-ModPack\Pictures\Races\Racename folder. This should work out.

Having had a similar problem, sounds like you started the game with the TDM modpack as the path but on subsequent loads you had the path wrong. Recommend using the Modpicker program.

Thanks for the replies...I must have set up the TDM folder wrong for use with the Mod launcher as I was getting some error Messages as well such as:

AI Fleet setting Errors- Unknown value "Compact" for fleets default formation record "first setting"

Anyway, when I uninstalled/reinstalled I simply changed the path name and did not use the launcher, the mod now plays and saves fine...I'll skip using the launcher for now until I can figure out what I initially did wrong...thanks again for the assist!

And that can be quite a chore if you want to use all of the races in the TDM mod. I know. I transferred every race I downloaded into both the regular race file and the TDM race file. And then had to see if the races were updated to whatever patch came out. Which meant cutting and pasting to the AI fleet and the AI general files of every race. At least for some of the older races that were pre-SE4 or SE4 gold.
